In this message for our 2nd Sunday Celebration, a more informal time of all-age worship, we're invited to explore the awe-inspiring nature of God and our response to his majesty.
Through the stories of Isaiah's vision and Peter's miraculous catch of fish, we see how encountering God's holiness leads to a profound awareness of our own imperfections. This realisation prompts us to confess our shortcomings, opening the door to God's transformative forgiveness.
The key lesson here is that our 'wow' moments with God should lead us beyond mere amazement to a place of humility, repentance, and ultimately, a willingness to serve.
As we reflect on the times we've been struck by God's greatness in our lives, let's consider: Are we ready to move from awe to action, allowing our encounters with the divine to fuel our mission in sharing his love with others?
