In this week’s sermon, I explore how Jesus’ Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14–30, NLT) calls us to steward what Christ has entrusted - our freedom, gifts, time, and resources - for his Kingdom. On Remembrance Sunday, we ask: what have we done with what was saved, and how do we stand firm against evil as Paul teaches (Ephesians 6:12) through holy, practical discipleship?
🎯 KEY POINTS COVERED:
• Faithful stewardship: Jesus entrusts each of us with the gospel and real-world resources; fear buries them, faith invests them.
• Remembrance with purpose: honour the fallen by using our freedom for justice, mercy, and community transformation, not complacency.
• Spiritual warfare: recognise unseen opposition (Eph 6:12) and respond with holy living, courageous witness, and care for the vulnerable.
