For the "Nobodies" who change the world
Have you ever felt like a “wallflower” who was never asked to dance? Many of us carry a quiet ache, feeling like no one really knows us.
In our latest sermon for Mothers’ Day, we explore the life of Jochebed. She was an unnamed slave woman in Egypt. In the eyes of the world, she was a nobody. But she was the mother who saved Moses and changed history.
She taught us that faith is “caught more than it is taught”. By loving her son and teaching him the ways of God in the ordinary moments of life, she prepared him for his great calling.
If you feel unseen today, remember that God has a habit of doing his best work through the people the world overlooks. Your quiet prayers and gentle corrections matter.
May you know that you are seen, known, and loved by God today.
